JOB TITLE: Spa Attendant DEPARTMENT: Spa REPORTS TO: Director of Spa CLASSIFICATION: Full-time $17.60 an hour SUMMARY: A Spa Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall ambiance of a spa facility. They provide essential support to ensure that guests have a pleasant and relaxing experience during their visit. Working closely with other spa staff members, Spa Attendants assist in various tasks, including cleaning, stocking supplies, doing laundry, and attending to guest needs. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:· Ensure all spa areas are clean and well-stocked.· Regularly sanitize and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and amenities according to established procedures and standards.· Monitor and replenish supplies such as towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, and refreshments in guest areas.· Assist therapists and technicians with preparing treatment rooms and arranging necessary equipment and supplies.· Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism.· Welcome guests, provide assistance, and anticipate their needs.· Escort guests to designated areas and amenities, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.· Respond to guest inquiries, provide information about spa services, and offer recommendations based on guest preferences.· Assist guests with locker assignments and spa amenities.· Collaborate with other spa staff members to ensure smooth operation and efficient service delivery.· Help with laundry tasks, including washing, folding, and storing linens and towels.· Maintain inventory levels of spa supplies and notify management when replenishment is needed.· Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.· Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste.· Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel.· Follow established protocols for handling and disposing of hazardous materials and waste.· Ensure that all spa equipment and tools are properly sanitized and stored.· Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.· Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards.· Perform other related services and duties as assigned by supervisor and management. REQUIREMENTS:· High school diploma or equivalent is a plus.· Previous experience in hospitality, spa, customer service, or a related field preferred.· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.· Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.· Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.· Physical stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.· Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and alternate shifts as needed. WORK ENVIRONMENT:· Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures is inherent in the role. ABOUT US:MacArthur Place was founded well over a century ago as a family estate, vineyard, and working ranch.
